Pilates Rehabilitation

Pilates uses a mind-body-approach to exercise. It uses exercises that  target the deep postural, or inner core, muscles of the abdomen and spine, in order to promote core strength and stability, and therefore free up the mobility of the limbs.

It focuses on correct movement quality, rather than quantity, developing increased body awareness and better posture. This is done through well-coordinated flowing movements, which help to contribute to muscles strengthening as well as lengthening; thus releasing unnecessary tensions.

Modified Pilates exercises can be beneficial for those with back problems, poor posture, arthritis, etc.

Exercises are tailored to your individual needs aiming to integrate the essence of the exercises into your daily life-activities, which can contribute to improved strength, flexibility and wellbeing.
