Kinesiology
The word Kinesiology comes from the Greek ‘kinesis’ which means motion and in medical science it is the name given to the study of muscles and the movement of the body. Kinesiology is a holistic therapy based on asking the body what it needs to return itself to optimum health and the principal tool used for monitoring this is one of the body’s muscles. Kinesiology can also help to correct imbalances throughout the whole body or mind system and so encourage the body and mind to heal itself by re-educating the body not to react to the allergen that may be causing a problem.
There are many different types of Kinesiology used today but all work on the same principal and are used in a non-invasive and painless way. The therapy is suitable for anyone whatever their age and health condition, as well as their level of fitness. However, problems can arise if extended use is made of muscles when testing as the muscles can become tired and give unreliable results. For example, this can happen when testing for a large number of problems or allergies; Pam tests for over 400 different conditions including up to 120 food allergies alone. Testing by muscles can therefore become uncomfortable and time consuming for the client. There is, however, a very successful and safe method of overcoming this problem and that is with the use of an ACMOS Lecher Antenna.
Kinesiology and the Acmos go hand in hand in as much as they can be used side by side. The Acmos will diagnose and the Kinesiology will help in the correction of the problem. For example, if the client is having problems with a certain treatment then Kinesiology can be used to help to overcome any possible blockage by teaching the body to recognise that there is no need for it to over react to the action.
