My interest in complementary therapies began in the late 1990’s, as a result of trying to find a cure for my chronic back pain. I attended some meetings of the Stourbridge ‘Earth Mysteries’ society where I met John Shango who was a Reiki master, he and others told me about Reiki and how it could help me and he recommended doing a course in Reiki. I then had the opportunity to visit a healing pool where I was cured of my back pain. I did not realise at the time but this opened up my sacral chakra, which caused a massive energetic change in me which I was not ready for. In order to aid my recovery I undertook some further education courses and the idea of doing a Reiki course appealed to me. I was given the opportunity to study Reiki at Bodybalance, and obtained my Reiki for Practitioners Diploma in September 2007 having found it helped me greatly and it to be a profound and life changing experience. From my background as a scientist, having studied crystal structure and formation, I found it fascinating that crystals also had a therapeutic use, so in September 2007 I took a diploma in Holistic Crystal Therapy to learn more on this subject, whilst working part-time as a scientist. In April 2008, I decided to become a professional therapist as I thought it would be a more rewarding job helping others, in the same way that I had received help. I had always been interested in massage, so in September 2008 I took a diploma in Indian Head massage in order to able to offer this relaxing treatment to my clients. |

VTCT Level 3 Diploma for Reiki Practioners, VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Crystal therapy, Level 3 diploma in Indian Head Massage Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, B.Sc., 2.1 Honours degree in Applied Chemistry with Computing, A-levels in Chemistry, Human Biology and Physics. I am also a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the International Council of Holistic Therapists and I am fully insured. |
