Therapist Profile

Like many therapists, I came to alternative therapies through personal illness, and work related stress.

My journey, which I call my “yellow brick road”  started at the turn of the new century when I realised that in order to improve my life, I alone was responsible and I alone would have to make the decisions and the choices.

I had always had an interest in alternative therapies and I took the decision to study my first therapy and took Reiki 1. I found this an amazing therapy with which I have had amazing results, from epressed horses to breast cancer patients. I now hold Reiki Master/Teacher in Usui, Tibetan, Karuna and Seichim Reiki systems.

I also have a huge interest in crystals, and I was very privileged to take the first crystal therapy course held at Body Balance. It was from this 9 month long course that I was literally propelled into the world of angels, and I became a qualified teacher with the Diana Cooper School of Angels and Ascension, incorporating both crystals and angels into my Reiki work.  

I am also qualified in Indian Head Massage,  Aromatherapy, Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology, Hopi Ear Candles, and Aqua Detox. I combine all my therapies to tailor a treatment to suit client needs, treating the mind, body and the all important spirit.

I also use all my therapies at home and have used them to great success on my baby grand daughter from nappy rash, coughs and cold, and more recently the dreaded chicken pox. It was my daughters pregnancy that stimulated an interest in the problems of that women have during their pregnancies, and I am now going on to study  specialised pregnancy massage, using all my therapies to enhance that special time in a woman’s life enabling her to have a more comfortable pregnancy. If I can make a difference to the life of just one person on my journey, then I will be a success. If I make a difference to three, then I am on my way to changing the world.
